OUR STORY
Doing the right thing
starts with helping.
We believe in helping other human beings as much as we possibly can. It’s that simple.
The Essential House grew from more than 35 years of working with people in communities through law enforcement, Child and Family Services, and other roles. That experience revealed how often people face barriers when they need support most.
Our purpose is to make food, clothing, hygiene products, and daily necessities available with as little delay as possible. These essentials support everyday life, dignity, and well-being.
We welcome people regardless of race, employment or housing status, nationality, sexual orientation, who they love, religious beliefs, organizational affiliations, or political views.
No one pays for anything.
Nothing is expected in return.
